Probably the most similar to the original King of Hop DIPA. The aroma is mostly tropical/citrusy hops with a tinge of spicy heat. The flavor is similar with tropical/citrus hops, then followed by peppery spice that lingers. The heat builds on the lips and palate and becomes even more exaggerated by the hops. While spicy food and hops are great combination, I’m not sure it works that well in a single beer for me. The pairing starts hop-forward, but eventually the heat overtakes it, which detracts from the underlying beer.
