Mystik Bock by Arches Brewing was judged as a Dunkles Bock, BJCP Category 6C.

True to type, this beer has a rich, Munich-type malt aroma. It becomes more distinctly toasty after awhile in the glass. It pours with a low, tan colored head and is reddish-amber in color. It is very clear.... Read More

New Wave by Pontoon Brewing is a blonde ale and was judged as BJCP Category 18A.

This golden-colored beer has a very pleasant aroma, which is also more complex than typically found in the blonde ale style. It has notes of corn and light DMS, grainy sweetness and noble hops. There is also... Read More

Black & Tan (or half and half) is a cocktail of sorts, consisting of dark and pale beer carefully layered and usually on draft. This particular blend -- American Porter and American Lager -- has distinct elements of both. Its aroma is subtle, with lightly fruity yeast character typical of... Read More

Sol Wit

Sol Wit

Louisiana
United States
Sol Wit, Miel Brewery & Taproom
Description

Belgian-Style Wit brewed with chamomile, lemon peel, and coriander seeds. A twist on a classic style, we added chamomile tea to give this Belgian-style wit some delicious complexity. On the nose, the yeast lends traditional aromas of pear, herbal spice, and whiffs of banana. The chamomile brings its own aromas of green apple skins to compliment the yeast, while the lemon peel and coriander balance with a a bright, grassy note.

This American IPA has a predominately floral aroma with supporting citrus fruit notes. Underneath lies a moderately low wort-like maltiness. It pours a yellow-orange color, mostly clear, and has a one finger-sized white head with good retention. The worty character is thankfully isolated to the... The aroma of this dry-hopped sour beer is quite fruity, dominated by grapefruit and passion fruit. Accompanying the fruitiness is a low acidity. There is no malt aroma, and it’s obvious this example won’t veer into funky territory. It is milky yellow in the glass with a moderate white head that... Read More
