Jude by Reformation Brewery is a Belgian-style tripel. It was judged as a Belgian Tripel (BJCP sub-style 26C). It poured clear and straw-colored into the glass where it quickly displayed a thick and fairly lasting white head. Its aroma included citrusy (especially lemony) esters, and moderate... Read More

This double IPA starts off strong with a pronounced fruity, hoppy aroma (grapefruit and pineapple) and a beautiful orange color with a generous creamy white head. This early promise is not sustained, however, as both the expected IBUs and substantial maltiness (and strength) expected for the... Read More

This beer poured clear orange with a very thick white nitro-enhanced head. The aroma was full of fruity (pear) esters and hop notes including some initial grassy ones. The intensity of the aromas was a pleasant surprise since some hop-forward nitro beers have their aroma suppressed by a thick... Read More

This Watermelon Gose poured a pale yellow color with a huge (2-3”) white head of tiny bubbles that dissipated quickly; the beer itself was relatively clear for a Gose with only a slight haze. The aroma was notably tart with plenty of watermelon and a bit of breadiness in the nose. The flavor was... Read More

This beer poured clear and light brown with a very thick white head that was present throughout tasting. The nose was both fruity and mildly sour, the latter from the cherry varietal rather than wild yeast or bacteria. The flavor profile also included strong cherry notes and a restrained,... Read More
