Avery Brewing announced the debut the release dates for two new limited-release brews this week. Twenty Three Anniversary Edition is a Brett Beer that's labeled as a Dark Farmhous Ale. It was released on Monday in 22-ounce bombers.

Inspired by Brabant (remember that one?) and the goodness of its marriage of Brettanomyces fermentation and Belgian dark malts, we've crafted this celebratory wild ale using three strains of Bretts. Our house strain, Brettanomyces drie, brings loads of ripe stone fruit aromas to the mix. Brettanomyces bruxellensis lends the classic horsey and rustic aspects of a traditional wild ale, while Brettanomyces custersianus delivers massive tropical fruit essences to the flavor party. Add some beautiful, dark and robust Belgian specialty malts for caramel, chocolate and fig elements and you have this-our rendition of a Dark Farmhouse Ale.

Twenty Three will be available in 22oz bombers. After the brewery release, bottles will make their way around AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, IA, KS, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, NJ, MN, MY, OH, PA, SC, TX, VA, WA, WI, WY, and Sweden.

Upper Hand Brewery on Michigan's upper peninsula has announced its newest limited-release beer, Double Ringer. This Double IPA is brewed solely with Equinox hops and clocks in at a respectable 10 percent ABV.

Escanaba, MI – We are excited to announce the upcoming release of our newest specialty beer, Double Ringer, a Double India Pale Ale (IPA).

Meant to celebrate the spring thaw in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Double Ringer is the ninth beer to be released since Upper Hand opened its doors in November 2014, including four year-round offerings.

“You’ll find few places where spring is more vibrant than northern Michigan. With its intense aromas and flavors, Double Ringer will stir up your senses, just like the perfect spring day,” commented Larry Bell, President and Founder of Upper Hand Brewery and Bell’s Brewery, Inc. Brewed solely with Equinox hops, Double Ringer is robust and hop-forward, coming in with an ABV of 10.0 %. Offering a blend of pine and tropical fruit aromas, with a bit of malt backbone, this Double IPA is a beer that should be enjoyed fresh.
