Cerveza Modelo has announced plans to partner with the Atlanta Hawks, Hoop Dream Studios, and local Atlanta artist, Muhammad Yungai, to design a one-of-a-kind hoop art collection. Full details are below.

Atlanta, GA – Modelo is a beer known for its tenacious Fighting Spirit and for the 2021-2022 NBA Season, is proud to be partnering with the Atlanta Hawks, Hoop Dream Studios, and local Atlanta artist, Muhammad Yungai, to design a one-of-a-kind hoop art collection inspired by Atlanta’s basketball and art communities. The hoops have been thoughtfully designed to reflect and celebrate the perseverance, determination and dedication found in this community. Whether on the court or within the murals that paint this beautiful city with vibrant color, the Fighting Spirit of Modelo and the Atlanta Hawks shines through.

The hoop collection will consist of three one-of-a-kind full-size hoops that will be used in a variety of ways across the program. One will be displayed as part of the collaboration with Muhammad Yungai. Yungai, a self-taught artist and leader in his community, creates impactful art with the Fighting Spirit of his community at the center of his work. On October 21st, 2021, the uniquely crafted hoops will be unveiled in the heart of Atlanta as part of a live mural painting exhibition by Yungai as a celebration for fans to kick off the Atlanta Hawks season!

Urban South Brewery HTX in Houston, Texas has announced a mixed-pack featuring collaboration, Halloween-themed beers with Kings Brewing Co., Tripping Animals Brewing Co., and Weathered Souls Brewing Co. Full details are below.

HOUSTON, Texas – Urban South – HTX has teamed up with Kings Brewing Co., Tripping Animals Brewing Co., and Weathered Souls Brewing Co. to release a new “Spooky Spilled Sixer” just in time for Halloween. The Spooky Spilled Sixer is a mixed six-pack featuring three collaborative beers brewed with Halloween candy ingredients. The new limited edition offering is currently available for purchase at Urban South’s Houston taproom, or fans may order their six-pack online for in-person pickup.

“We love to bring a sense of nostalgia to our beers and with this six-pack, we wanted to bring our fans back to all of those fun times trick or treating as kids,” said Dave Ohmer, General Manager at Urban South – HTX. “Working with candy is an interesting process, but in the end is well worth it as the candy is what gives each beer that evocative eroma and extra punch of taste. Stratford, CT - With the tipoff of college basketball set to start in early November, Two Roads Brewing Co. is teaming up with UConn Athletics to launch a truly iconic, collaborative beer, TwoConn Easy Ale.

As part of a larger partnership involving advertising and promotions, it made perfect sense for Two Roads to take it to an even higher level and collaborate with UConn Athletics to create a special beer for UConn Nation.  “We are excited to partner with Two Roads in a collaboration of iconic Connecticut brands,” said UConn Director of Athletics David Benedict. “This is going to be a great partnership that we are sure our fans are going to enjoy, both at the games and when they visit the brewery.”
