JDub's Brewing Co. Realigns Distribution Footprint, Expands to Georgia

JDub's Brewing Co. in Sarasota, Florida is switching distributors in Florida, which means the brewery will be able to expands its distribution to the state of Georgia starting in June.

"JDub’s 12 oz variety “Dub” Pack, as well as 6-packs of Passion Wheat and Bell Cow Milk Chocolate Porter are launching in Kroger stores throughout the State of Georgia" in early June, per a release from the brewery.

Heavy Seas Beer and Loose Cannon Brewery Agree to Trademark Licensing

Heavy Seas Beer in Baltimore, Maryland and Loose Cannon Brewery in Abingdon, United Kingdom have established a trademark agreement over the potential confusion between the two brands.

Heavy Seas Beer has plans to release its beers in the UK and EU, which could potentially cause confusion with one of its top-selling brands Loose Cannon IPA sporting a similar moniker to Loose Cannon Brewery's name.

According to a press release from Heavy Seas, "the Trademark ownership and use issue has now been fully resolved with Loose Cannon taking over the ownership of the UK trademark and subsequently granting a license for use to Heavy Seas Beer in the UK. Heavy Seas has granted a mirror license to the Loose Cannon Brewery for the use of the Trademark in the EU."

Reformation Brewery in Woodstock, Georgia has announced a new recipe for the brewery's Oren Pale Ale.

Beyond a reformulation of its recipe, the brewery also unveiled an attractive new can design for the beer.

According to the brewery, "the refreshed Pale Ale recipe is fine tuned for low bitterness and soft, balanced sweetness and highlights a small addition of lactose (milk sugar) as well as waves of tropical hop aroma and flavor from Citra, Mosaic, and Amarillo hops."

ATLANTA – Reformation Brewery announced today a new look and recipe for their year round offering, OREN. Making its way to taproom and craft beer retailers as a Pale Ale at 5% ABV beginning this week, the beer will be available everywhere Reformation Brewery beer is sold across their Georgia & Tennessee footprint.
