With a brilliantly clear orange-hued amber color and a three-finger cream-colored head, this beer tempts you with its beautiful presentation in the glass. The aroma is grainy with notes of toast and bread crust, and there is a nice big citrusy nose – lots of ripe tangerine with hints of peach,... pFriem Golden IPA by pFriem Family Brewers was evaluated as BJCP2015 style 21A American IPA. Poured slightly hazy deep straw with a medium head of small and medium-white bubbles that slowly fades to a 1-finger head, but regenerates when swirled. The aroma is light, grainy, bready malt with low... Read More

Pours a fairly thick and viscous hazy, light copper and struggles to create any head beyond a thin, light tan layer of tiny bubbles that has very little retention – possibly from the high alcohol content. Initial aroma is very light sweet chocolate and a very low cherry with moderate sweet... Valley of Gold, Wild Heaven Beers
Description

Wild Heaven designed Valley of Gold as an homage to one of the greatest beers ever brewed. This Belgian Pale boasts a cloud-like head that rests on a straw-gold body. In the old-world tradition, it is dry-hopped with whole cone Crystal hops for a particularly vibrant and expressive hop profile. Each bottle and keg undergo a secondary fermentation with Brettanomyces brux, which adds layers of complexity and a farmhouse quality that makes this beer intricate and amazing.

Valley Of Gold by Wild Heaven Beer was evaluated as BJCP 2021 style 24A, Belgian Pale Ale. The beer pours a slightly hazy medium gold (a bit light and a bit hazy for style) with a large head of small and medium ivory-colored bubbles that fades to a persistent layer of tiny-bubbled foam. Pours a beautiful, very clear, red-tinted deep mahogany with a medium head of fine, light tan bubbles that stays around. A nice caramel character with floral and woody notes leads the charge in the aroma, and a bit of honeydew melon is also apparent along with some clean ethanol and a bit of... Read More

Tourist Trappe was evaluated as a Trappist Ale (BJCP 2015 Style 26C, Belgian Tripel).  Lemony citrus notes on the nose are inviting, with hints of mango and Juicy Fruit. Light floral hops complement the very light bready note in the aroma. Pours a slightly hazy light gold with a small white head... Read More
