pFriem Family Brewers to Release First-Ever Canned Beers

pFriem Family Brewers in Hood River, Oregon, which was recently named as the best brewery of 2018 by The Beer Connoisseur, has announced the release of two of its beers in cans for the first time.

The brewery's Pilsner and IPA will both be made available in 12-ounce cans starting in 2019.

Six-packs of IPA will retail for $11.99 and Pils will be $10.99. The full release from the brewery is below.

Wild Leap Brew Co. in LaGrange, Georgia has announced the brewery's first new beer of 2019.

Truck Chaser Creamsicle Double IPA is, as its name would suggest, a lush and fruity Double IPA that is meant to evince memories of novelty ice cream, the creamsicle.

“We took an indulgence of our past and brewed the flavors into a hoppy, hazy Double IPA," said Wild Leap co-founder Anthony Rodriguez. "It wasn’t that long ago that my friends and I chased the ice cream truck, not the beer truck.”

Brewed with ripe orange, vanilla bean and milk sugar, Truck Chaser is available now. The full release from the brewery is below.


Wild Leap is kicking off 2019 in a delicious way by releasing a new Double IPA series called Truck Chaser. Creamsicle Double IPA is the first beer in the series, hitting the shelves the second week of January. Truck Chaser Creamsicle will be the first Wild Leap beer to be sold in four packs instead of six packs and it will only be available in the market for a short time.

Brewed with a flavor combination of ripe orange, vanilla bean and milk sugar, Creamsicle Double IPA is designed to taste like a creamsicle straight from the ice cream truck. “We’ve had a lot of fun with this beer,” says Wild Leap co-founder Anthony Rodriguez. “We took an indulgence of our past and brewed the flavors into a hoppy, hazy Double IPA. Land-Grant Brewing Co. Collaborates with Writer and College Basketball Luminary Mark Titus

Land-Grant Brewing Co. out of Columbus, Ohio has announced the release of a collaboration beer with legendary bench rider Mark Titus, who was a collegiate basketball player with Ohio State.

Titus, who co-hosts the college basketball-themed One Shining Podcast with Tate Frazier and also writes about NCAA basketball on The Ringer, will be on hand to help unveil the beer at Land-Grant's taproom later this month.

Proceeds from the beer's sale will go toward's Titus's Club Trillion foundation, which helps supports walk-on student athletes, of which Titus was a member with the Buckeyes.

FORT BRAGG, Calif. - North Coast Brewing Company, an independent craft brewery producing exceptional, award-winning beers, is excited to announce that it has promoted Jennifer Owen to chief financial officer. Owen takes the reins from Sam Kraynek, previous CFO, who transitioned to the role of chief operating officer this past year.

Owen joined North Coast Brewing as controller in 2018, managing financial reporting, banking relationships, internal controls, insurance, budgeting and human resources. She brings years of notable experience in accounting, project management and grant writing to her role as CFO.

“Jennifer is an integral part of the North Coast Brewing team and possesses a deep understanding of our goals and mission,” said North Coast Brewing COO, Sam Kraynek. “Her wide-ranging experience and dedication are the perfect fit for the responsibilities of this role.”
