Heineken USA has announced the launch of Heineken 0.0, an alcohol-free beer with a unique recipe that clocks in at only 69 calories.

White Plains, NY (January 2nd 2019) – HEINEKEN USA is launching its latest innovation, Heineken® 0.0, an alcohol free malt beverage brewed with a unique recipe for a distinct balanced taste, containing only 69 calories per bottle. The brand’s iconic label has been turned blue to match the color associated with the alcohol free category globally. Heineken® Master Brewers created the new zero-alcohol brew, made with natural ingredients, resulting in a drink brewed for beer lovers, by beer lovers. In a category where building occasions and meeting shifting consumer tastes is critical, Heineken® 0.0 introduces a versatile brew for a variety of drinking occasions, and connects with the discerning tastes of a wide range of drinkers. Well Crafted Beer Co. in Lansdale, Pennsylvania has announced the release of a new taproom-exclusive beer.

Belgian Dubbel with Cherries is a copper-colored brew that's fermented with Well Crafted's house abbey strain and conditioned on some delightfully tart cherry purée.

Maui Brewing Co. Kicks Off 2019 with Relaunch of Waimea Red Ale

Maui Brewing Co. in Kihei, Hawaii has announced its first new release of 2019.

The brewery is rereleasing Waimea Red Ale in cans for a limited time in local markets. Clocking in at 6.5 percent ABV with a sturdy 50 IBUs, Waimea "is favored by both our brewers and the MBC ‘ohana. The balance of Waimea, Mosaic, and Cryo hops with the dark fruit malt character finishes crisp and clean, making it enjoyable for most any beer lover,” according to Maui's National Sales Manager Pete Schneider in a release.

pFriem Family Brewers out of Hood River, Oregon has announced the brewery's full 2019 release calendar now that the calendar has rolled over from 2018.

The brewery celebrated a tremendous year of growth in 2018, as it was named the Mid-Size Brewing Company of the Year at the Great American Beer Festival.

pFriem is expected to unveil a variety of new releases in 2019, and the brewery continuously pushes the envelope in terms of experimental and barrel-aged beers throughout the year.

Grimm Brothers Brewhouse in Loveland, Colorado has announced the release of its 2019 rendition of The Bleeding Heart, a Baltic Porter brewed with cherries and blackberries.

LOVELAND, Colo.— Grimm Brothers is thrilled to announce The Bleeding Heart 2019 release. The evolution of The Bleeding Heart has brought the brewhouse to this year’s edition, a Baltic Porter with the addition of copious amounts of blackberries and tart cherries to give it that special Valentine’s kiss of sweetness. It is lagered to perfection, giving it a crisp finish with a hint of lingering roast and a medley of malts and dark fruits. The Bleeding Heart will hit stores across Colorado in 6-pack cans the first week of January giving, everyone ample time to enjoy this tasty treat before Valentine’s Day.

This year, we also have a specialty release of The Bleeding Heart, a barrel-aged sour blonde ale finished on tart cherries and a blend of funk (limit 2 per customer), which will be a taproom-only release on Valentine’s Day. This is the start of our plans to expand the brand even further with “Loveland only” options that will be barrel-aged collaborations with some of our local off-premise partners. We hope to draw people to Loveland during the city’s Valentine’s celebration to show the sense of community and togetherness that not only the Loveland Brewing community shares but the city as a whole.
