Monday Night Announces Piranha Dealer Milkshake IPA

Monday Night Brewing in Atlanta, Georgia has announced a new Strawberry Vanilla Milkshake IPA called Piranha Dealer.

Monday Night has become synonymous with interesting IPAs, and Piranha Dealer is no exception.

Brewed with Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic and Ekuanot hops, this silky smooth IPA features the hazy appearance and fruity, tropical backbone one would expect of a fruited IPA. The beer will be available from the brewery in 16-ounce cans.

The full release from Monday Night is below. Cans may be reserved here.

Piranha Dealer sounds shady, but it's really a brilliant batch of sunshine. Our milkshake IPA base is made with rolled oats, torrified wheat, acidulated malt and a touch of honey for sweetness and balance. Simcoe, Citra, Ekuanot and Mosiac hops round out the mix. But we don't stop there! Nope, we took a boatload of strawberries and vanilla beans and made this a true summertime treat. Come to the taproom on Sept. 14 for the official release. Guarantee your cans (did we mention they're 16 ounces?) at the link.

Odell Brewing Co.'s Jolly Russian Returns

Odell Brewing Co. in Fort Collins, Colorado has announced the return of its popular rum barrel-aged Imperial Stout, Jolly Russian.

Aged in rum barrels from Mt. Gay Distillery in Barbados, Jolly Russian expresses elements of vanilla, molasses and dried fruit.

Jolly Russian will be available in limited quantities across Odell's 18-state distribution footprint. The full release from the brewery is below.

Fort Collins, CO. - Arrre you ready? Jolly Russian has returned. Encouraged by popular demand, Odell Brewing has re-released their rum barrel-aged Russian Imperial Stout as part of their Cellar Series.

Jolly Russian is a rich Russian Imperial Stout, aged in fresh Rum barrels from Mt. Gay Distillery in Barbados. Distilling since 1703, Mt. Gay is the oldest rum producer in the world.

"We hunted down some super fresh barrels to age this beer” explains Brewer Marni Wahlquist. “The rum soaked wood imparts bold characters into the beer that beautifully compliment the warmth of the higher ABV.”

At 13%, this is the highest ABV beer Odell Brewing packages for distribution. Dark as night and thick as the raging sea, this brew boasts flavors of coffee and cocoa with notes of oak, spiced molasses, dried fruit and vanilla.

Jolly Russian will be available in limited quantities as a single 12oz bottle across Odell’s 18-state distribution footprint.
