History and Background of The Brewery
Russian River Brewing Company was founded by Korbel Champagne Cellars in 1997, and the brewery quickly gained a reputation for producing high-quality and highly sought-after beers. In 2003, Vinnie Cilurzo, the brewery's brewmaster, and his wife Natalie took ownership of the beer business and opened their first-ever brewpub with a new business plan in 2004.
