Citizen Cider, Runamok Maple Debut Tree Tapper Maple Syrup Cider

Citizen Cider in Burlington, Vermont has announced a new cider called Tree Tapper made with maple syrup from Runamok Maple. More details can be found below.

BURLINGTON, Vt. — Citizen Cider, founded in 2010 on a hunch and some good old-fashioned hard work, has quickly become a leading player in the craft cider arena. Citizen Cider strives to look at the bigger picture and focuses on being involved in every aspect of their supply chain, sourcing all fruit directly from local farmers and pressing the juice to create a true craft cider. Never from concentrate.

We are thrilled to be bringing Tree Tapper back to the market for its third year as a limited-edition cider in the Citizen line up. Every spring the sap flows from the maple trees in Vermont and every spring we start thinking about getting to the business of making Tree Tapper and drinking it with our friends as they gather in sugarhouses. Tree Tapper is fermented with maple syrup, red wine yeast, aged on untoasted oak and infused with dark Belgian candi syrup to add rich and hearty characteristics reminiscent of the season and the good maple farmers at the sugarhouse.

Ohza Unveils First-Ever Mimosas on Draft

Ohza in Cambridge, Massachusetts has announced that it has made its canned Mimosa available on draft for the first time, which marks the first time ever that a mimosa has been on tap. More details are below.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Ohza, the Boston-based upstart behind the ready-to-drink, reinvented mimosa in a can, announces the launch of their flagship beverage in kegs – the first ever ready-to-drink mimosa available on draft.

After a successful launch with cans in 2019, restaurant and bar managers loved the taste and convenience of Ohza’s mimosas, but some preferred not to serve a canned cocktail.  “Canned cocktails really call for an environment where the portability factor is more crucial, like ballparks or concert venues,” said Ryan Ayotte, the 25-year-old founder behind the brand, “so when we got feedback from restaurants and bars saying they’d order Ohza immediately if it was in a keg – we did it.”

From writer/director Guy Ritchie comes The Gentlemen, a star-studded sophisticated action comedy. ‘The Gentlemen’ follows American expat Mickey Pearson (Matthew McConaughey) who built a highly profitable marijuana empire in London. When word gets out that he’s looking to cash out of the business forever it triggers plots, schemes, bribery and blackmail in an attempt to steal his domain out from under him (featuring an all-star ensemble cast including Charlie Hunnam, Henry Golding, Michelle Dockery, Jeremy Strong, Eddie Marsan, Colin Farrell, and Hugh Grant).

With plenty of shots in the film featuring whisky, it made perfect sense to create an ode to the film in whisky form.
