Espressway, Two Roads Brewing Co.
Description

In a process unique to Two Roads, we mixed a locally-roasted Ethiopian/Sumatra blend of beans with a rich oatmeal stout under pressure (like espresso but without the steam) using our German-built “Brewnik” device. The mixture is steeped for several days resulting in a true, cold-brewed coffee stout.

This beer pours a slightly hazy golden color with a white head that leaves lingering lace on the side of the glass. Corylus

Corylus

Corylus, Pure Project
Description

Corylus is our luxurious bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout infused with a trio of adjuncts that make it an unforgettable Pure classic. The fifth batch of this velvety, full-bodied brew rested in Cutwater Bourbon barrels 15 months, establishing a unique complexity. To take it up a notch, we added in organic toasted hazelnuts, organic Peruvian cacao, and organic Brazilian coffee. Elements of each ingredient come together beautifully to create a delicious experience for the senses. Expect to be greeted with aromas of cinnamon sugar cookies, bourbon, and vanilla wafer that give way to decadent flavors of dark chocolate fudge, hazelnut gelato, and inky espresso on the tongue.

This beer pours deep gold with a light haze, and a fine, white persistent head. The aroma is moderately tart with a hint of lemon zest, and a light peppery character that emerges as the beer warms. A light bready maltiness and moderate briny character also develops in the aroma. There is... Read More
